Summary
Earth from Above, also referred to as earth.app, is designed to work on your device. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not collect, sell, or share your personal information through the app.
Information Stored On Device
The app may store a small amount of data locally on your device:
- your saved favorites
- cached wallpaper images used to keep browsing fast
- the wallpaper catalog and metadata packaged with the app
This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to a server by the app.
Permissions
If you choose to save a wallpaper, the app may request permission to add the selected image to your Photos library. That permission is used only to save the wallpaper you asked for and not for any other purpose.
Device Motion
The app may use device motion locally to power visual effects such as parallax. Motion data is processed on device and is not transmitted to me or to third parties by the app.
Location
Some wallpapers include geographic metadata such as place names or coordinates. This is information about the wallpaper itself, not your device. The app does not request or track your live location.
What The App Does Not Do

- no advertising identifiers or ad targeting
- no third-party analytics or tracking
- no uploading of your photos, messages, or contacts
- no sale of personal information
Third Parties
The app is distributed through Apple, so Apple may process information under its own terms and privacy policies. This privacy policy covers the data practices of Earth from Above itself.
